Life Between Sundays
“Faith, if it doesn’t have works, is dead.”
- James 2:17
The Book of James is one of the most practical and helpful letters of the New Testament. Starting on January 8, HCB RR will work through it verse by verse in an attempt to live out the lordship of Christ in our life between Sundays. The author of this book, James, moved from skeptic to church leader after encountering the Risen Lord. His writing continues to challenge us to live our faith every day of the week.
As we study the book of James, we will encounter real-life topics like:
1- How to preserve through trails.
2- How to life with wisdom and reject foolishness.
3- How to face and overcome indwelling sin.
4- How to move from belief to behavior.
5- How to care for those in need.
6- How to use money without worshipping money.
7- How to change the way we talk.
8- How to live with genuine humility.
The big question is, if He is truly God of our lives,
what does He have to do with the rest of our week??
We'll answer this question in our services at the CHASCO Family YMCA of Round Rock.
Two identical services are held every Sunday morning.
First service begins at 9:00am and the second service at 10:45am.
Both include exciting music from a full band
and an uplifting message, usually from lead pastor, Keith Ferguson.

What about my kids?
Pre-school and elementary kids should be registered at the First-Time Children's Rgistration desk just inside the entrance on the I35 side of the YMCA. The whole family will then visit the classroom where the kids will stay and participate in activities developed just for their age-group while you experience the worship service. You'll be given private security badges for each of your kids and will be notified with your security number on the overhead screens during the worship service if your child needs you before the end of service. All of our children's program adult volunteers have cleared a background check and have been trained in the safest and most secure way to interact with classrooms of children.
Junior High students in 6th, 7th and 8th grades will meet upstairs at the YMCA during the 10:45am adult worship service.
High School students are invited into our adult worship service and meet again on Sunday nights at the YMCA from 7:00 to 8:30pm.
