Chris and his wife Susan have been married for 13 years. They met while they were both attending Texas A&M, where Susan graduated from but Chris did not, he graduated from the University of North Texas (Go Mean Green!) with a BA in Political Science. Chris grew up in a family that attended the Catholic church, but it wasn't until Chris was  in his late 20's that he put his trust in and began seeking a relationship with Christ.  Susan accepted Christ as a teenager .  They have three kids, Owen 7, Ryan (RC) 4, and Lucy 3.

Chris and Susan began attending Hill Country Bible Round Rock in January 2008 and quickly became involved. Chris serving in the Children's Ministry as a teacher and Susan on the worship team. Chris and Susan are currently coordinating the KidzLife team and shepherding a small group. Susan also serves as a discussion group leader in the MOPS ministry.

Chris currently works at Dell putting his degree to good use as a software quality assurance tester and Susan was an Algebra teacher for 7 years until she was blessed with the opportunity to become a stay at home mom. She is back in her teaching element as a homeschooler. Together they are barbeque enthusiasts, passionate fans of Texas Rangers baseball, and love family time.

Since Chris and Susan began their journey at HCB Round Rock they experienced immense personal and spiritual growth and attribute that growth to being heavily involved in authentic Christian community, seeking God on a daily basis, and allowing the Gospel to penetrate their hearts. They are excited to see how God will continue to use HCB-RR to reach our city with the life changing reality of Jesus Christ.
