Douglas Hallam, Worship Pastor

Douglas has been involved in worship ministry for as long as he has been in church. He was a youth director in his hometown of Jasper, Texas before moving to Dallas and marrying his wife, Darin. Together they served in volunteer worship ministry positions until God called Douglas into a staff position at a local church in a Dallas suburb. There he met and ministered alongside our lead pastor, Keith. Douglas followed God's direction and moved to Round Rock in January of 2006 (while his wife was 7 and 1/2 months pregnant) to be a part of the Hill Country Church Plant that Keith would pastor. Douglas was a manager at Starbucks Coffee in Round Rock until October of 2008 when Hill Country hired him in a full-time capacity. He and his wife have a daughter, Kinsey who was born in March of 2006, and a son Taggart who was born in May of 2008.
