Kurt grew up in several cities and his family finally settled in Lawrence, Kansas where he graduated from high school. Upon completing high school, he enlisted in the United States Marine Corps where he served for 6 years. After the Marine Corps, he returned to Lawrence and began his career in Law Enforcement. It was there that he met his wife, Dionne, while she was attending the University of Kansas. |
After prayerful consideration, Kurt and Dionne decided to move their family to Round Rock to participate in the church plant and have been a part of HCB Round Rock from the beginning.
Kurt and Dionne have been married for 13 years and they have two children: Jacob- 9 and Emma- 6. Both Jacob and Emma have accepted Christ as their Savior. Kurt is currently a Detective with the Round Rock Police Department and Dionne works at the church office as an Administrative Assistant. Kurt is a RLG Shepherd and leads the Facilities Set-up Team. Dionne is active in Worship ministry. Kurt enjoys sports (especially football), running, shooting, outdoor activities and reading. Dionne enjoys scrapbooking, stamping, baking and reading. They both enjoy movies and family time.
