KIDZLIFE
KIDZLIFE is a fun place at Hill Country Bible Church for children in the elementary. This season of life can be one of the most fun-filled seasons as children grow and develop into incredible young people. While each kid is changing physically, mentally, emotionally, and socially, we want to partner with parents to help their children develop spiritually. As a church, we want to help elementary age kids experience the life-changing reality of Jesus Christ in ways that are geared to connect with them where they are. So, we have designed our entire ministry around small groups so that every kid will have an adult investing in them by knowing them, loving them, and sharing God's truth with them.

When Do We Meet?:
We meet every Sunday morning at 9:00 AM and 10:45 AM during the worship gatherings. During the 10:45 gathering, kids will be a part of an experience called KIDZLIFE LIVE, utilizing music, video, media, drama, and other creative elements to help kids grow in their relationship with God.
What Do We Teach?:
In Luke 2:52 it says that "Jesus grew in wisdom, in stature, and in favor with God and man."
We want every child to know that...
- They need to make the wise choice.
- They can trust God no matter what.
- They should treat others the way they want to be treated.

THIS Summer:
The months of June and July 2010 for elementary students will be a new series called Chase the Light!
Week By Week Overview:
Week 1:
Bible Story: Wise Men, Matthew 2:1-11
Bottom Line: Follow the Light that is Jesus
Memory Phrase: We're gonna follow the star
Memory Verse: "I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life, " (John 8:12, NIV) (same for weeks 1-4)
Week 2:
Bottom Line: God wants us to tell others about Jesus.
Memory Phrase: We're gonna shine His light.
Bible Story: John the Baptist, Mark 1:6-11
Week 3:
Bible Story: Calling the Disciples, Mark 1:16-20
Bottom Line: God wants you to see you for who you really are.
Memory Phrase: Be who He wants us to be.
Week 4:
Bible Story: Blind Man, John 9:1-23
Bottom Line: Jesus showed us that God is good and can do anything.
Memory Phrase: Shout His story, that's right!
Week 5:
Bible Story: Nicodemus, John 3:1-21
Bottom Line: We can believe what Jesus said.
Memory Phrase: We believe what He says.
Memory Verse: "I have come into the world as a light, so that no one who believes in me should stay in darkness," (John 12:46, NIV) (same for weeks 5-8)
Week 6:
Bible Story: Mary Magdalene, Mark 15-16
Bottom Line: God sent His Son to win the fight against sin.
Memory Phrase: We know that He won the fight.
Week 7:
Bible Story: Road to Emmaus, Luke 24:13-35
Bottom Line: We can trust that God has a plan and we should tell others about it.
Memory Phrase: We can show the world.
Week 8:
Bible Story: Day of Pentecost, Acts 2
Bottom Line: God wants you to help others see the light.
Memory Phrase: We will chase the light.
