Nick Shock, Ministries Pastor
Nick and his wife, Jada, grew up in Texas and have lived in several areas across the state. Nick felt called to ministry as a teenager, and while in college God began to clarify a calling to serve families in the local church. Nick and Jada were married in January of 2000 while attending Hardin Simmons University in Abilene, Texas. Nick got a degree in Bible and leadership while there. He served as a student pastor for 10 years before joining the team in April of '07.
The Shock's have four children: Aubryn, Keirah, Leif, and Emry. As a family they enjoy being in the outdoors fishing, hunting, skiing, golfing, or just hanging out on the trampoline. They love hanging out with other families when they play!
As a couple they have felt a strong call to be a part of planting a church over the past six years, desiring to help people connect with God and others through healthy local churches. Their passion as a family is to love God, love people, and lead others to do the same which comes from Mark 12:30-31, Nick's life verse.
